Strictly necessary storage

The Folio request form stores your partially completed answers in your browser's session storage so that a refresh mid-flow does not lose them. This is cleared when you complete the order or close the tab, never leaves your device, and excludes your name, email and phone number.

We also set one first-party cookie, settleiq_consent, recording your choices for each cookie category so we don't ask again on every visit. It holds those choices and a timestamp, nothing else. Because it records the consent decision itself, it is lawful without consent. It is shared across settleiq.co.uk and its landing pages at go.settleiq.co.uk, so one decision covers both, and it expires after 180 days, after which we ask again.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to measure site performance. It sets cookies on your device and is not cookieless, so it only loads once you've accepted non-essential cookies through our consent banner — see our Privacy Notice for the lawful basis relied on (your consent). If you reject, or simply never choose, none of these are ever set.

Advertising

With your consent, advertising cookies from Google Ads and Reddit let us measure which advertisements actually bring people here — so we can stop paying for the ones that don't. They are set only if you consent to the advertising category, and only while an advertising campaign is actually running; reject, or never choose, and none of them is ever set. Withdrawing consent from the footer's “Manage cookie preferences” link deletes them from your browser.

Everything this site can store, named

Nothing in the analytics or advertising rows below exists on your device unless you have consented to that category. The two essential rows are browser storage rather than cookies — they are never transmitted to us or to anyone else.

Tags are loaded through Google Tag Manager, so this list can in principle change if we add a tag. If it does, this table changes with it — that is the point of naming them here rather than describing them in general terms. The advertising durations above are the providers' documented defaults; we re-verify them in the browser when a campaign first runs and correct this table if they differ.

Payment provider

No payment is taken on settleiq.co.uk itself. Once we have confirmed we can build your folio, payment happens on a separate page hosted by Dodo Payments, our payment provider and Merchant of Record, reached via a link emailed to you. Any cookies set there are set by Dodo Payments under their own notice, not by this site.

Change your choice

Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. The button below — and the same link in the footer of every page — reopens your preferences with your current choices shown. Switching a category off and saving deletes that category's cookies already on your device and reloads the page. You are no longer recognised as the same visitor afterwards. Usage data Google already collected before you withdrew is held for 14 months and then deleted automatically — see our Privacy Notice.
